Instructions: Boiling/Heat Method; In a large container, preferrably glass, add the desired amount of Irish moss that you would like to use, then cover it with spring, alkaline, or distilled water. Make sure that the water covers the moss by 2-3 times because the moss will expand. Allow the moss to rehydrate for 12-24 hours. Pour off the water, and thoroughly rinse your moss (5-6 times) until all the sand and salt has been removed. Bring a pot of water large enough to hold your Irish Moss to a boil. Once the water starts to boil, turn the stove off and place your sea moss into the pot. Stir the moss until it dissolves into the water. Once all the moss has dissolved, allow it to cool before placing it into the refrigerator. Usage Suggestions:1-4 Tablespoons.

Pour off the water, and thoroughly rinse your moss (5-6 times) until all the sand and salt has been removed. Place your Irish sea moss into your blender and dd distilled, alkaline, or spring water until it fills halfway, not fully covering the sea moss. Blend until smooth, then store your Irish moss gel in a clean glass container in the refrigerator. Can last between 3-4 weeks.

 

Storage: Irish sea moss can be stored for over one year if stored in a dark cool place (DO NOT Refrigerate). Sea moss can be stored in water in a glass container for up to two weeks.
